Bechdol was one of many representatives from area companies at the DeKalb County Career Day for eighth-grade students hosted at DeKalb Middle School. The Career Success Coalition of DeKalb County organized the event for Garrett, Eastside, Lakewood Park, Hamilton and DeKalb schools. Careers represented included health, media, science, education and manufacturing fields. The day also included a panel discussion about careers from human resource personnel.
