Steering Committee

The work of the Learning Link Steering Committee is to:

  • Maintain and increase the community’s involvement in determining DeKalb County’s long-term learning goals;
  • Receive and act upon community input;
  • Support the action teams’ development of tools for measuring progress;
  • Assure continued adherence to working in new ways rather than reverting to the traditional and familiar ways that have been less than effective;
  • Be accountable to the community for results and outcomes; and
  • Perform these duties while always objectively considering what is best for the overall vision of the community rather than the interests of any one segment of the community.
